Project Description

On 26th July 2025, a Tree Plantation Program was successfully organized as a joint initiative of the Rotary Club of Pokhara Fishtail and Rotary Club of Pokhara Midtown. The program was conducted at multiple locations, including Kalika Battalion, Parsyang Children Park, Krishnadal Battalion Fulbari , Puskarini Gokul Dham, and the Pokhara periphery.
During the program, around 500 various kinds of fruit plants were planted with the active participation of Rotarians, local community members, and representatives from the respective battalions and organizations.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, increase greenery, and encourage sustainable practices through fruit tree plantation, which will contribute to the well-being of the local communities in the long run.
Both clubs Presidents Rtn. Kamala Giri and Rtn. Upendra Poudel expressed their commitment to continue such impactful projects that align with Rotary’s focus on supporting the environment. The event was marked by great enthusiasm, teamwork, and a shared vision for a greener and healthier future.
